I recently received the Vive Upright Forearm Walker from Your Medical Store and I love it! I have a rare neurological disability requiring the use of assistance for balance whenever I’m mobile. I live in Northwest Montana, and outdoor recreation abounds. I choose to be active, and this necessitates I use medical devices that help me stay healthy & as able-bodied as I can be. I like this walker because it helps me to be much more upright than the standard 3 or 4 wheel rollator-which I’ve used for nearly 20 years. An upright posture is so important in reducing back pain, and properly distributing the weight on legs, knees and ankles. For me, this means I can stay more pain free and participate in more activities- and generally just enjoy life more with a disability.
And it’s also easy for me to take places-as the walker collapses easily and fits into my van. – and weighs just over 20 lbs. There is also a seat with a backrest that comes in handy when you need to sit down. It comes with an attachable black shoulder bag. There is some light assembly required-but not much; and the walker was shipped for free, and took less than a week to get here.
