This Aluminum Folding Bariatric Rollator is made of heavy-duty aluminum for optimal stability while still remaining lightweight for easy portability. The entire rollator folds down flat, including the soft, fabric under-seat basket, to easily fit in the back of a car or store discretely away. The 500-pound weight capacity proves that lightweight construction does not have to sacrifice durability, and this rollator is designed to stand up to the test of time.
The 8-inch PVC wheels swivel in the front and are secured in place in the back, allowing for convenient mobility over a variety of terrains. When not moving, users can sit on the padded seat and rest against the similarly padded and ergonomically curved backrest, giving them a platform where they can rest their feet and maintain their balance until its time to move again.
The handles of the rollator easily adjust up and down to suit the height of the user, as does the seat so users don't have to overly bend to sit, reducing the risk of falling. The convenient hand brakes keep speed control at the users fingertips; squeezing the brakes gently slows the rollators back wheels to help control speed when going down inclines or if the user feels they are going too fast. Pushing the hand brake forward locks the brakes in place, immobilizing the rollator and making it safe to sit on.
The under-seat compartment provides private storage for the user and is made of thick fabric that folds completely flat along with the rest of the rollator so as not to get in the way when the rollator is not in use.
